Interesting Fact

📝 Japan is famous for the haiku, one of the world's shortest poems with just 17 syllables (5-7-5). The legendary poet Matsuo Bashō wrote: "An old pond... A frog jumps in... Splash!" (古池や 蛙飛びこむ 水の音). In only 17 syllables, he painted a peaceful scene that readers have admired for over 300 years, proving that even the shortest poem can tell a beautiful story.
