JLPT N4

Interesting Fact

🚗 More than 2,000 years ago, the original form of 軽 (輕) combined a cart (車) with the symbol 巠, which represented tightly stretched threads on a loom. Threads are light and easy to move, so together the character described a cart that could be pulled effortlessly. Over time, it came to mean "light" or "lightweight."

Memory Trick

🎈🚗 Imagine tying hundreds of helium balloons to a car(車). It's so light that it struggles to be on Earth(土).
