When someone comes home in Japan, they're often greeted with 「お帰りなさい」(Okaerinasai), meaning "Welcome back." 🏠 The person returning replies with 「ただいま」(Tadaima), meaning, "I'm home." These phrases are exchanged every day in countless households, turning an ordinary homecoming into a warm family ritual.
