JLPT N4
Interesting Fact
Japan has many small groves (林) scattered between rice fields and villages. Although they look ordinary, these patches of trees became safe homes for birds, insects, and wild animals. Today, conservationists recognize them as important "green islands" that help protect biodiversity in the countryside.
